Interpretive signs
Culture and Natural History
Thanks to funding provided by the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation, the Club has placed several interpretive signs along the length of the Creeper Trail. We hope these will inform trail visitors and provide a reason to stop and reflect during your travels. School, scout and other groups may wish to use the information they contain to construct a quiz or scavenger hunt for trail facts. Those interested in the sign design are referred to the manufacturer, Pannier Graphics of Pennsyslvania. The style in use on the Creeper Trail is the Low Profile base with embedded fiberglass images.
